Scooter and bike rental in Phuket — prices, delivery and how it works. Chang Thai rents Honda and Yamaha automatic scooters from five branches — Phuket Airport, Mai Khao, Bang Tao, Chalong and Phuket Old Town — open daily 09:00–20:00. Rentals start from ฿300 a day on multi-day rentals (฿350 for a single day) and ฿4,000 a month. Two helmets and government compulsory insurance are included, delivery is free on rentals of 3+ days, and we never hold your passport — a copy is all we take.

In Phuket the same kind of vehicle goes by many names: scooter, moped, motorbike, motorcycle or simply “bike”. What almost every visitor rents is an automatic “twist-and-go” scooter — no clutch and no gears, easy for beginners and comfortable for two. Our rental fleet is automatic scooters: the light Honda Scoopy and Click 125 for short beach and town trips, the Click 160, PCX 160 and NMAX 155 for two riders and hills, the ADV 160 for rougher roads and viewpoints, and the 330 cc Forza 350 and ADV 350 big scooters for big days out. How to rent a scooter in Phuket
- Choose a scooter and dates — book online above or message us on WhatsApp.
- Pick where to collect it — at a branch or the airport, or have it delivered to your hotel, villa or condo (free on 3+ day rentals).
- Handover — we check the bike with you and film a short handover video; you leave a passport copy, never the original.
- Ride, then return — return it to any branch or arrange pickup; your deposit comes back the way it went in.

Do you keep my passport as a deposit?
No. We never hold your passport — we take a copy only. The refundable deposit starts from ฿2,000 and is paid in cash (several currencies accepted) or by credit card.
What is the difference between a scooter, a moped and a motorbike?
In Phuket the words are used for the same kind of bike. What most visitors rent — and what we rent — is an automatic scooter: no clutch and no gears, from the light 110–125 cc Scoopy and Click to the 330 cc Forza 350 and ADV 350.
What do I need to rent a scooter?
