Yes, there is one hill between Kalim and Kamala along the coastal road, but it's short and manageable on any scooter in our fleet. The Honda Click 160 or PCX handles it easily. The view from the top over the ocean makes the climb worthwhile.
Can I park a motorbike near Bangla Road in Patong?
Yes — there are several motorbike parking areas near Bangla Road. The main one is on the side streets off Rat-U-Thit 200 Pee Road. Parking is free or 20–30 ฿ per night. Motorbikes are much easier to park than cars in Patong.
Is Kalim Beach suitable for surfing?
Kalim is Phuket's second surf spot after Kata Beach. The waves are best during the southwest monsoon (May–October). The bottom is rocky, so it's recommended for intermediate surfers. During the dry season, the sea is flat and calm.
