Local riding notes

Bangtao's roads are flat and calmer than Patong, but Srisoonthorn Rd. is fast — hold your lane and watch U-turn traffic. The sois into Laguna are resort-speed; the beach road floods briefly after heavy rain (ride slow, brake early). Cherngtalay's Sunday market and Boat Avenue both have proper bike parking. Checkpoints appear on Srisoonthorn a few times a month — documents and helmet as always.
